A vacancy has arisen within our exceptional planning team for an experienced senior planner.  The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team as we continue to drive a service of excellence.

Auckland Radiation Oncology (ARO) is a private radiation oncology facility on the site of Mercy Hospital, Epsom in Central Auckland.  A North Shore satellite centre will be opening in the near future.  

The Epsom centre currently has three state of the art Elekta Versa  and Synergy Linear Accelerators and the very latest IGRT, VMAT, and IMRT capability, including ExacTrac.  ARO has a growing stereotactic radiation therapy programme and offers advanced treatments with planning based on the RayStation treatment planning system. 

A proven ability to plan complex techniques and push forward new approaches in close collaboration with the Medical Physics and Treatment teams is essential.  Knowledge and experience with adaptive and advanced 4D techniques is desirable. 

Specialist planners who would like to take their planning skills to the next level should also apply.

Salary and benefits will be based on the candidate’s experience.  Reasonable relocation costs will also be considered.  ARO offers a flexible work environment.
