Research shows nutrition plays an important role in helping individuals during all phases of treatment for many cancer types. It is particularly important for individuals with head and neck cancer. Patients with head and neck cancer may face unique challenges that interfere with their ability to eat due to the location of their disease.
To access the MercyAscot dietetics team whilst receiving treatment at ARO please speak to any ARO team member about arranging a referrral. MercyAscot dietitians with expertise and experience working with cancer patients are onsite at ARO two to three times a week.
